Salliann Briggs has represented England Women’s cricket at U17, U19 and U21 level. Captaining the teams on international tours. In 2013 she retired and began coaching, quickly progressing to Head Coach for both the England Women U15 and U19 squads. Then in 2016 she began coaching Loughborough Lightning in the Kia Super League in the UK, taking them to the semi-final in her first year. In March 2018, she moved to Australia as she was named as the head coach for the Hobart Hurricanes in the Women’s Big Bash League and the Tasmanian Tigers in the Women’s National Cricket League.
