Jan Kodeš

Jan Kodeš is a former professional tennis player and coach. He won a total of 25 international singles and 31 doubles tournaments, the highlights were singles victories at the 1970 and 71 French Open and Wimbledon in 1973. In 1980 he was part of the winning Czechoslovakian Davis Cup team that featured Ivan Lendl, Tomáš Šmíd and Pavel Složil. From 1982-87 he was the non-playing Davis Cup captain. And in 1990 he was inducted into the Tennis Hall of Fame.
