Peter Moores had a long first class career as a wicket keeper with Worcestershire and Sussex, and retired in 1998 with over 800 dismissals to his name. He became coach of Sussex in 1999, and led them to their first ever Division 1 Championship in their 164 year history in 2003. He went on to coach England Youth and development squads, before being appointed coach of England Men’s team in 2007. Peter was appointed coach of Lancashire, and delivered their first championship in 77 years, making him the only coach to have won the championship with two different counties. his lead to him being appointed as England Men’s cricket coach again in 2014.
